Night Maus blogging assignment

The books Night and and Maus are similar in many ways. Both tell of the hardships that Jews endured throughout the holocaust. Such as the small portions of food they were given, or how hard they were forced to work and given very little rest. Also, they both tell of the horrors of the holocaust. Such as when people were hanged for minor crimes or how people were forced to dig their own graves and then be shot in Night. In Maus when the healthy people were put on one side and the sick, weak, and old were put on another who were eventually going to be gassed. All in all I would recommend we read both books. Night was good because it really went through the story of someone who went through the holocaust and lost everything he had. Maus was good because it had good illustrations so we could better picture the events then just reading them in our heads. So in my opinion both books are worth reading because both were interesting as well as informative.
